Getting around in New York City, NY

Although, New York can be intimidating, due to its enormous size, its vast public transit makes it easy for people to get around. Regardless of preference or distance, there are many ways to get around in the Big Apple.

New York's mass transit, most of which runs 24 hours/day, is the most complex and extensive in North America, including rail, bus and subway services, its subway being the largest rapid transit system in the world, with 468 stations, in operation.
